Mini-Notebook Filled With Cheat Sheets

My post it notes are getting out of hand at my volunteer site. I will be putting codes, instructions and site info in this little book.

It's 4 x 5. I used scraps and a practice bow. This is going to make my life a little easier. It was a quick project. 5-10 minutes max.

Mistake #2: Tag 2

Well I thought I would try another tag.  This is a Inkadikado Stamp.  My apologies, the name is not on the stamp.  I'm experimenting with Tim Holtz' distressed inks.  I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the outside edge after using it to stamp the image.  Again, I made it work.

  • Cuttlebug A2 Script Texture Cuttlebug embossing folder
  • Black card stock

Tag Card

My best friend gave me a stack of tags and I felt compelled to use them.  It was fun and a tad bit challenging.  I couldn't think of what in the world to do with these tags.  Well, here is a sample.

SEASONED ETHIOPIAN TEA

A former co-worker's wife shared this recipe with me after a Christmas party.

Ingredients:
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Shreaded Ginger (Dried)
  • Cloves
  • Coriander
  • Sugar/Sweetner
  • Water

Directions:
  • Boil water with a pinch of the above mixed ingredients (equal parts)
  • When it is ready, add a tea bag to the water (black tea works best) I prefer Earl Grey
  • Add sugar/sweetner (to taste)

Notes:
  • Experiment with a pinch at a time
  • Too much can prove to be overpowering (unless you like that)
  • Spices can be reused
  • If you don't want the loose ingredients in your tea, use an infuser
  • This also releases a wonderful aroma

COMFORTING HOT LEMONADE

My mother made this for me when I was a child.  It brings back fond memories.  I absolutely love this beverage. If you are a lemonade drinker, you'll love this recipe:
  • 1/2 lemon
  • sugar/or sweetner to taste
  • water

 Directions:

  • Cut lemon in half
  • Squeeze 1/2 lemon
  • Boil, microwave, place water in hot pot, or run water through a coffee maker
  • Add lemon juice and water to cup
  • Add sugar or sweetener (to taste)
  • Stir

Some opt to add a mint leaf or a couple of very thin slices of fresh ginger.  I'm not a fan of mint (shown above) but I throughly enjoyed the ginger option.
