A former co-worker's wife shared this recipe with me after a Christmas party.
Ingredients:
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Shreaded Ginger (Dried)
- Cloves
- Coriander
- Sugar/Sweetner
- Water
Directions:
- Boil water with a pinch of the above mixed ingredients (equal parts)
- When it is ready, add a tea bag to the water (black tea works best) I prefer Earl Grey
- Add sugar/sweetner (to taste)
Notes:
- Experiment with a pinch at a time
- Too much can prove to be overpowering (unless you like that)
- Spices can be reused
- If you don't want the loose ingredients in your tea, use an infuser
- This also releases a wonderful aroma
